Near Shore is a great way to catch a bunch of big fish
Fishing near shore, close to the wrecks off the coasts of Palm Harbor, Clearwater, and Dunedin is a great way to catch a bunch of BIG FISH. Many times we will have clients that book dates in the spring and fall way out in advance because they want to make sure that they have their dates to target Cobia, Kingfish, and Mackerel without having to go way offshore.
We have hundreds of man-made reefs off our coast and each one of them is great for holding bait. And where you find the bait you will find the predators. These predators include fish like Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, Sharks, and Amberjack to name a few. Each fish has the ability to strip most or all of the line right off of your reel when they decide to go for a run. This fishing is fast and furious and people just love it. We will be fishing with light tackle and great equipment. We have the best boats that money can buy because providing a smooth and safe ride is essential to the experience. Meet the CaptainIt all started for Brian at a young age. He grew up as a Florida-native in Palm Harbor where he learned how to fish from one of the most respected fisherman in the state; his father, Captain Al Dopirak. Brian grew up fishing the Tampa Bay area and he had two loves in his life; fishing and baseball! At the age of eight, Brian started playing baseball and continued to play through high school until he got drafted by the Chicago cubs in the second round. He played professional baseball a total of close to 10 years, playing for three different major league organizations; the Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays and the Houston Astros. He led his dream life having both loves as a career; baseball through the season and fishing during the offseason.
